We have a heatwave here, but a short one thankfully. It should be back to normal 23°C tomorrow. I spent the whole day today eating ice cream, drinking water and watching cute things to distract myself from that exhausting heat.

Seeing new pics from Q3 of Only Friends Dream On shooting helped, too. But wow, Aou, have mercy on me. There is hot enough here as it is, even without you being all bad boy DJ in a see-through shirt. 😊

The Ex-Morning

7th episode aired today, and surprisingly for me I’m enjoying this drama more and more with each new episode.

More with spoilers here.Mix’s cameo as a vet! And he looked gorgeous, I can’t wait for Only Friends Dream On.

Also, wow, they made me sympathize with Phi. Yeah, what Tam did was shitty. I knew he had to have a reason for breaking up with Phi by sms, and then blocking him everywhere and not talking to him for years. But his reason absolutely doesn’t justify his behavior IMO. Couldn’t he just talk with Phi honestly? I fricking hate ‘I’m breaking up with you for your own good’ trope.

Speaking of cameos – I really, really hope we’ll get Boom’s cameo in the last episodes as a current or future boyfriend of Aou’s character. GMMTV lately loves to do that with their fixed ships, if only one half of a ship is in a drama. Till now we had Force’s cameo in Only Boo, Sea’s cameo in Sweet Tooth Good Dentist, and New’s in Break Up Service.

The Next Prince

I’m getting bored. I thought I would love this drama, but something is not working for me. Prince/his loyal bodyguard is my kind of ship, I feel like I should love Khanin/Charan, and yet I basically lost all interest in them. I blame the script, it’s just not good. Pacing is bad, too. For a long time I felt like almost nothing really was happening story wise. Also where is Ava? She disappeared completely lately.

I still am very much invested in Ramil/Paytai, their relationship is my kind of complicated and angsty and hot, and for them I will watch it to the end. But yeah, for me this drama definitely didn’t live up to my expectations.

I also started MilkLove’s new GL drama Whale Store xoxo. Two episodes aired for now and I liked them. Milk looks so beautiful that I spent the first half of the 1st episode just staring and sighing ‘she’s soooo gorgeous’ in an awed voice. Heh... The drama itself is cute and enjoyable, and perfect for relaxing on Wednesday evenings.

And yay, I did manage to finish something, too, finally. Two dramas, actually. One was the 2nd season of Tengu no Daidokoro. I loved it. It was as good and beautiful, and touching as the 1st season. And all the food porn made me so hungry at the most inopportune times, like for instance after 9 p.m. 😊

I also watched a short kdrama on Netflix called Mercy For None. I did enjoy it, but it was very brutal, dark and bloody, so it took me a while to watch all of it, even though it has only 7 episodes. It got a bit repetitive in the second half, but it satisfied my love for complicated and obsessive sibling relationships. And the fights were excellent.

It’s about an ex-gangster Nam Gi Jun who left the underworld in dramatic circumstances 11 years ago. And now he returns to uncover the truth about the mysterious death of his beloved younger brother (who in present time was the second in command in Gi Jun’s former gang). And to ruthlessly take revenge on people responsible.

I haven’t seen So Ji Sub, who plays Gi Jun, in anything before. And he is very good here. Very charismatic in that tortured, brooding and silent type of way. And it was great to see Lee Jun Hyuk playing someone so different from his green flag character in Love Scout. Here he guest stars in a few episodes as Gi Jun’s younger brother Gi Seok.

I’m a bit sick, ugh. Nothing serious, just a sore throat and a bit of a cold, probably because I’m sweating a lot (ahh, my lovely frenemy menopause 😒), and when I go out there is a strong chilly wind outside (and has been for the last two weeks or so), and of course air conditioning inside everywhere.

Also I have the attention span of a gnat lately and started watching so many new things, I don’t know when I’ll finish all of them. 😊

I mean, ok, I did finish a few things. Amongst them:

Kpop Demon Hunters

This is Netflix’s new animated movie everybody is talking about right now. It’s about three demon huntresses, who form a kpop girl group named Huntrix, and use their songs to build the protection spell around the world, to save all the humans from a big scary demon, who wants to eat their souls. So this demon sends five demon boys to form a kpop boy group to compete with Huntrix and steal their fans and their fans’ souls from them.

Yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds, and it’s also funny and entertaining, and touching and sweet. I enjoyed it a lot. And I didn’t expect much, just an hour and a half of fun and cuteness and a few catchy songs. And it was all that, but it also made me teary-eyed at the end.

Spoilers here. And not because of Jinu’s sacrifice. But because I’m a sucker for ‘power of friendship saving the world’ stuff. And that movie delivered so well on that front. Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s friendship was my favorite part of the movie.

Also – this cover of Your Idol is very good.

My Sweet Brother in Law

The last episode aired last week and it was bit of a letdown after decent and enjoyable four episodes.

Spoilers here, tooThat went into a full OTT dramatic soap opera in the last episode: a cheating psycho wife, a homophobic dad throwing his gay son out of the house, a stabbing, Bao saving Khanh’s life and ending in a coma for six months, and then a cliffhanger with a sudden arrival of Bao’s handsome ex-boyfriend. I think they hope for the 2nd season. And you know what, I hope they will make it. In general I enjoyed this drama. For my first Vietnamese BL it was great.

Even though I do wish they didn’t make Khanh’s wife a gold digging cheating psycho, to make it okay that Khanh cheated on her with Bao. After watching the first three episodes I was so pleased that the women involved weren’t vilified in this drama, and unfortunately, that didn’t last.

I also watched two other BL dramas. And they both had a very similar plot. Chinese and Taiwanese BL dramas sure do love dramatic, full of longing and forbidden desire, step-brothers pairings, don’t they? 😊 And sometimes I get a craving for such pairings, too.

So first I watched Moon and Dust, a new short (6 episodes) Chinese BL. An older boy rescues a younger boy from homelessness and suffering, ends up raising him, and then of course a younger boy falls desperately in love with his Da Ge and tries to quash those feelings, but can’t help confessing in an emotional scene. And the older brother clearly feels something more than brotherly feelings, too, but can’t admit it, because he doesn’t want to recognize those feelings for what they are, and he feels that as an older brother he has to be the responsible one and refuse his brother’s love.

I liked this short drama a lot. It’s cheaply made, cheesy and OTT sometimes, but good actors with very nice chemistry made it work for me.

Spoilers for the ending here. This is not a happy ending. I would say it is ambiguous. It’s clear they both have feelings for each other. But they don’t get together, and it ends with the older one rejecting the younger one’s feelings. But there is no tragedy or death or anything like that. So you can imagine very easily a post-canon fix-it with them getting together in a few months or a few years.

The 1st episode is available for free on Youtube here. When the drama was airing they did make each new episode available for free for the limited period of time, and now you can still watch the last 6th episode there, but episodes 2-5 are available for members only.

And since Moon and Dust was so short I decided to finally watch Unknown, Taiwanese BL from 2024 with the same trope. I did watch the first episode back then when it started airing, but it was rather dark and violent, and I wasn’t in the mood for something like that then, so I never watched more. But now I watched all of it.

My opinion – it’s very uneven. The first half is good, and then it starts falling apart. It took me a week to watch the last two episodes, because they were either super boring (episode 11) or made me cringe so hard (episode 12).

The weak script in the second half was the main problem for me. Exacerbated by me not really seeing much romantic and sexual chemistry between leads. As actors they are both good, but it was very hard for me to buy Qian reciprocating Yuan’s feelings.

More complaining with spoilers here. And seriously, everybody around them is perfectly fine with Qian and Yuan’s relationship, and so accepting as soon as they hear about it? And people in Qian’s office instantly start gossiping about who’s the top and who’s the bottom. And then they openly ask Qian about it. I cringed from second hand embarrassment so hard and instantly pressed a fast-forward button. Why? Why do BL dramas still do that in 2024?

And this post got quite long already so I’ll write about all those other, started things the next time. And now I’m going to watch some of them, and maybe I’ll even mange to finish something else today. 😊

Oh wow, look at that. 😍

These are AouBoom pics from the first day of shooting.

Two more pics (EarthMix and JossGawin) behind the cut.

People are speculating that Only Friends Dream On may even replace Memoir of Rati when it finishes airing in September. It would be great. And I already know I will be even more obsessed with this season than I was with the first one. 😊

Good RL thing is that I had a colonoscopy today and everything is fine. Uff... I admit I was a bit anxious, especially since I was never sedated before. But everything went well.

And there are plenty of good fannish things.

At 25:00, in Akasaka will have the 2nd season. It was officially confirmed a few days ago. Yay!

Only Friends Dream On started shooting today. There is a chance it might start airing in November or December. Woohoo!

MosBank will have another drama soon. It’s called Be My [Soul]mate, and it’s another university BL with “and they were roommates” plot. Here is hoping it will be better than Sunset x Vibes. The official longer pilot will be released tomorrow, and for now here is a teaser pilot.

Jeff Satur’s new song Tell Me The Name is fantastic. The official MV is here. And here is a stage version from the concert he had on 21st of June.

Jeff looks so hot here in that sleeveless T-shirt. Come on, Jeff, hurry up and come to Europe when I still have the strength and energy to fly to another country to see you on stage. 😊

Goddammit GMMTV! I really don’t have time to watch another new drama, and you have to go and bait me with this:

This is the thumbnail image of the last episode’s teaser for Off Jumpol’s currently airing drama Break Up Service. I actually watched the first three episodes of this drama. The first one out of general curiosity, the second because Force guest starred in it, and the third, because Drake guest starred in it as a secret lover of a closeted BL actor, and I was intrigued by the plot synopsis for that episode. I found the drama pretty meh in general, and I didn’t really care for the main het romance, so I never watched more. But now I think I’m going to watch the 11th episode and the finale the next week.

And I know it’s a bait, because it’s not a BL drama, and Off’s character has a female love interest, and because OffGun and TayNew are mega popular and sacred fixed ships. 😊 So I know they're not actually going to give us an OffTay kiss. And yet I can’t help but hope. Please, GMMTV, let guys in fixed ships kiss guys other than their ship partner from time to time. Pretty please...

I also forgot to mention in my previous posts that the wonderful person who made English subs for the 1st season of Tengu no Daidokoro, finally finished making subs for the 2nd season, too. Links for the new season are in this tumblr post. I only managed to watch the first three episodes for now, but everything I loved about the 1st season is still here. It’s lovely and cozy, and it makes my heart all warm. 😊

The Bangkok Boy episode 8

That was a great episode. Even though it was a bit oddly paced. Or maybe just a lot has happened in a short amount of time.

More with spoilers here. That NC scene was great – it was passionate and desperate, and full of longing, and angry and sad at the same time. It’s like Peace and Sun don’t allow themselves to feel love, because of their families and everything that happened. So this desperate, frantic sex is what they can allow themselves to have during this one night of hurried happiness. Before even more heartache and suffering.

Damn, I really think there might not be a happy ending for Peace and Sun.

And oh, Mei and Cherry have an adorable slow burn romance. Cherry is so awkward and shy, poor thing. But clearly so infatuated already. It’s a bit harder to tell what Mei might be feeling, she’s still a bit broken, and angry and depressed. But she liked when Cherry brought her flowers every day, and when Cherry was so sweetly shy around her.

Also Mr. Joe’s two adopted sons seems to have their own agenda. And maybe that will bring Mr. Joe’s downfall after all.

And bye, bye, Aim, you were an entertaining villain, but I’m glad you paid with your life for all those horrible things you’ve done.

Our Movie episode 1

I couldn’t resists the temptation of Nam Goon Min’s new drama after all and already watched the 1st episode.

And it was very good. My beloved is great as always. And for now his character here reminds me a little bit of Baek Seung Soon from Hot Stove League. Similarly closed off, soft spoken, never raises his voice. But you can see a lot of emotions and feelings behind those calm, beautiful eyes.

And, wow, Jeon Yeo Been... I’m in awe. She is fantastic. I knew she was a good actress, but wow, she impressed me so much here.

But I don’t know if I have enough mental powers for watching this drama now. That first episode was so sad. There was underlying sadness in almost every scene, and my throat was tight when the episode ended. Even though nothing overtly sad or tragic happened yet.

The Ex-Morning

I’m not dropping it after all. I really enjoyed the 4th episode. Even Padtaphi didn’t annoy me this week. And I’m already in love with the secondary GL pairing.

The Bangkok Boy

Ok, the drama gets its own tag, because I love it and I’m so invested. Episode 7 was great. But wow, that show is dark. Very dark. And it makes me anxious. Because I can’t say to myself that it’s just a Thai BL drama and no one I love will die. Because someone for sure will.

But yes, this is definitely a brutal gangster drama first. BL part is a distant second. I like it that way, but I saw quite a few fans disappointed about the BL part being in the background like that, and the main plot being all about gangsters fighting each other. Truly speaking I am a bit surprised that TPTB even marketed it as a BL drama.

Content warning. When Sun was in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, Sun’s younger sister Mei was sold out to Sun’s enemies. She was forced to take drugs, and raped repeatedly for three years before Sun rescued her after coming out of prison. It wasn’t shown explicitly, but we see the aftermath, and what it did to Mei.

More with spoilers here.I was hoping that they wouldn't go there with Mei. But they did, in a really dark way. But she is getting help now, and it seems she is slowly getting better. And she has her burgeoning friendship with Peace. And maybe a future GL romance with a kind and cute paramedic.

And I enjoy Aim as an unhinged villain, and the actor gives great crazy eyes. And I kinda ship him with Madam Yao. Yes, I have a het ship in a BL drama, it happens sometimes. 😊 But look at this gifset I found on tumblr. And he’s like a brutal, crazy dog only she has a leash for. It does things for me. But Aim needs to pay for what he did to Mei, so I fully expect him to die before the end. And I will cheer when he does.

And our main romance is slow paced. Very slow paced. But, based on the trailer for the next ep, the boys will finally consummate their love this Saturday. 😊

And Our Movie, Nam Goon Min’s new drama, starts airing today. Now I have to decide if I want to have my heart stomped upon on weekly basis, or if I should wait for a guaranteed heartbreak until all of it airs. 😊

There are too many dramas I want to watch. I mean, this is a good problem to have. But I gave up trying to catch up with dramas I already started. And there are so many I haven’t even started, and I do want to. Gone are the days when I could watch 8-10 episodes of a show in one day. And it’s not even because I don’t live alone now. But these days I can manage maybe 3-4 episodes in one day, if I’m really invested in something. When I try to watch more I feel like I stop absorbing anything after a certain point. One of the reasons is probably that blasted menopause, because my concentration has been shit for like the last three-four years. But well, what can you do, life is brutal and full of zasadzkas, as we say in Poland sometimes. 😊

But my fannish life is good, fortunately. I almost finished my next Klao/Warich fic. I’m rewatching The Matchmakers at the pace of one episode a day, and it’s as fantastic as I remembered, and it makes me squee a lot again.

I’m also expanding my BL horizons, and after watching Taiwanese, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Chinese BL dramas, now I started Vietnamese BL call My Sweet Brother in Law. It’s a short drama with only 5 episodes, and three aired for now. And well, this is ‘infidelity, the drama’ basically. One guy has a fiancée, another guy has a wife. Although not everything is as clear-cut as this sentence suggests.

But I guess I’m in the mood for some infidelity, which is strange, because usually it’s a DNW for me. Maybe it’s because the drama does not vilify the women involved? Anyway, I for sure will watch the last two episodes, too. Because it is entertaining and the lead actors are good and pretty, and have great chemistry. 😊

More with detailed spoilers here.Guy with a fiancée is called Bao. And his future marriage is a marriage of convenience. He’s gay and his fiancée Huyen is a lesbian and has a girlfriend, who is Bao’s former roommate. That’s how Bao got involved with them.

The other lead is called Khanh. And it seems he only got married because this what was expected of him. And because his family is rather conservative. Which is coincidentally Huyen’s family, since Khanh is Huyen’s older brother. It also seems that Khanh’s wife is sincerely in love with him. And it absolutely is shitty of him to cheat on her, and IMO the drama doesn’t try to justify his behavior.

But I wonder how can they resolve this in only two remaining episodes if they want to have a happy ending for our main couple? I’m assuming there will be a happy ending, since both guys already caught feelings even though neither of them would admit it for now, and they both pretend it’s just sex between them. But there is really not that much time to make a plausible happy ending happen.

It’s available on Youtube with English subs. The playlist is here.

In other fannish news word on the street is that Memoir of Rati has a sad ending. Aww, no, I don’t wanna... I’m still going to watch it though. And maybe it’s just a rumor. GMMTV’s dramas usually have a happy ending. So maybe this one will, too.

And now trailers. So many trailers. Really, when am I going to watch all this? 😉 Behind the cut there are embedded teasers and trailers for:

Bon Appetit, Your Majesty – a kdrama about a talented chef from 2025 who travels in time to Joseon era, and there she meets a tyrant king who is also a gourmet.

Three BL dramas – Korean drama Ball Boy Tactics (university BL with basketball and antagonists-to-lovers plot), Thai drama Suntiny (MaxNat in a continuation of Sun and Nuea’s story from Y Destiny), and Chinese drama Revenged Love (about a seduction that starts as revenge but becomes a real love).

Two Thai GL dramas – Be My Angel (about a romance between a girl with worst luck and a rather inept angel), and Whale Store xoxo (MilkLove in a love story about a girl, who inherits her father’s unprofitable grocery store and a flirtatious store regular, who hides a truth about her family’s business).

Watch them here.

The Ex-Morning

I don’t know, I might drop this one. Krist’s character Padtaphi is such an annoying jerk. And a bully. His employee makes a mistake and Padtaphi yells at him and grabs him by his shirt, and shakes him violently. Gee, I wonder why no one wants to work with him. Really, such a mystery.

Singto is great, I love Aou, but every time Padtaphi is on screen I grit my teeth. And since he’s one of the leads it’s becoming a problem for me. I think I’ll give them one more episode this week and we’ll see.

The Next Prince

It’s very uneven. I enjoy it, it’s beautiful to look at, it’s usually entertaining and very sexy. And I ship Ramil/Paytai so hard. But I guess I expected something a bit better?

Spoilers for episode 5 here.Oh yes, Ramil/Paytai is exactly my kind of ship. And wow, it sure does remind me of Vegas/Pete a lot. Ramil is so toxic and broken. Paytai is a poor woobie who is so desperately in love with that cruel, broken boy who hurts him. Their love is twisted and messy and complicated. And I’m here for it. I wish they showed at least one or two flashbacks to how it all started between them. But if the drama won’t deliver on that front, I hope at least there will be fanfic. 😊

What I don’t like is sexism being all well and fine in Emmaly. It reminds me of real life and I don’t want my silly royalty BL to remind me of awful things from real life. I hate that Ava has like 3 minutes of screentime in each episode. I really hope that she will win the competition. Because it clearly won’t be Ramil. I think his redemption arc will be getting out of his abusive father’s control, and being happy in his kinky relationship with Paytai. Unless theirs will be a tragic tale ending in, I don’t know, separation and suffering, and maybe even death?

And aww, that dream Paytai had about a sweet, soft moment in bed with Ramil who’s tender and loving. My poor boy, I would love a happy ending for him. But if it will be angst and tragedy that’s fine with me, too. I love OTT relationship angst. Just don’t make it too realistic. 😊

But I’m also kinda meh on Khanin winning. I still love him, but he tested my patience in this episode quite a lot. I think the show wants me to see Khanin ordering Charan around as something cute and amusing. But I don’t know. Khanin doesn’t even ask if Charan is happy with his current situation. And for me Charan does look happy. It looks as if he’s doing something he loves. Something that is his passion. And Khanin wants him to abandon all this without a second thought.

The Bangkok Boy

I started it on a whim a few days ago and already watched three episodes. It’s a new Thai BL about an angsty romance between Sun, a son of a Thai gangster, and Peace, a son of a Korean gangster. Peace’s father wants to expand his business into Thailand, and he orders Peace (who has a Thai mother) to go there to oversee things. Peace is gentle and soft, and he would really prefer studying philosophy to selling drugs and killing people. But he has no choice because his father is an abusive and violent asshole.

Sun’s father is a gangster, too, but it’s fine because he’s an old-school good gangster. He has gambling dens and other illegal businesses, but he doesn’t want drugs on his territory, and he cares for ordinary people living there. Even if it means losing a future big profit he could get from drug trading. His enemies are bad gangsters (one of them is Peace’s dad), who only care about money. Another important information is that there is also a villainess called Madame Yao and she’s so hot. I wish she got a girlfriend. 😊

The main couple gives me strong Romeo & Romeo vibes. Hopefully without a tragic ending. I haven’t read any spoilers so I have no idea how it might end. I’m not ruling out an unhappy ending because this drama is rather dark and violent. But I like it a lot because this is a gangster drama and a revenge drama first and a BL drama second. Our two leads don’t even meet until the 3rd episode.

Six episodes aired for now. It airs on Gaga, and the first two episodes are available for free. On Gaga and on their Youtube channel here.

Memoir of Rati

The trailer is here. And it looks good. Just please, no tragic ending for anyone, show, please. A lot of angst I can take, and I know there will be a lot on angst. It’s historical BL and two pairings with class difference after all. But give me a happy ending, I beg you. 😊

Because the second round of the presidential election is tomorrow, and I’m starting to get so nervous, damn. So I’m distracting myself by browsing twitter of all things. Mainly because Only Friends Dream On workshops started and I’m squeeing over all the pics. Especially over AouBoom, because just look at them:

Also Neo was there on day 2. Which can mean that his role will be more than just a cameo like I expected after the pilot trailer. It would be great if that was true. Add Boston to all that messiness and complicated relationships and you will have such an explosive mixture. Gimme. 😊 I’m already vibrating with excitement. Filming is supposed to start in June so if everything goes well, airing starting at end of the year might be possible.

I also watch a lot of short vids about GMMTV mascots. They have this thing at GMMTV where they make mascots for all their fixed ships, and they are treated as the ships’ kids. It’s silly but very cute, and perfect for cheering up.

TayNew’s child Polcasan is the cutest with his sweet little voice (not all the mascots can talk, but he can). He calls Tay ‘Papa’ and New ‘Phor Phor’, aww... But I also really like Forcebook’s kid Tomafox. Here are proud parents with their baby:

According to Bookie, Tomafox is a boy who likes to wear a skirt and to put on eyeliner and mascara. Again aww...

And of course there is a new episode of The Next Prince today and of Boys In Love tomorrow. That’s a good distraction, too. 😊

I had a great time. Stuff in Warsaw was dealt with almost no complications, and three days in Lubin were wonderful. I haven’t been in Lublin in years and it was so nice to see what’s changed and what has stayed the same.

I’m all caught up with my dreamwidth reading list. I think. 😊 I still have a lot of new fics to read, because reveals for 520 Day Guardian Reverse Exchange 2025 happened, yay. And I’m so behind on drama watching. I did watch some when I was away, but not much, my eyes really dislike the small screen of my phone.

What I already watched after being back:

Boys in Love

It’s so sugary sweet, that I feel like I have a new cavity every time I finish watching the newest episode. 😉 I enjoy it a lot, it’s my lovely Sunday slice of fluff. And I really hope it will stay lovely and sweet and fluffy, and that there won’t be any unnecessary angst and sudden 11th episode break-up in the future.

The Next Prince

I still enjoy it. It’s entertaining and pretty to look at. But I wish the pacing was better. As it is I’m starting to get a bit bored sometimes. IMO some of the scenes drag on and on and on. It seems, after four episodes, that the screenplay isn’t their strongest point. Unfortunately.

More with spoilers here.Yeah, no, Ramil’s father Prince Rachta is definitely not the main bad gay. If all the clues points to him for now, and this is just the 4th episode – nah, he’s not the main villain. Right now my money is on Khanin’s grandfather. He’s all ‘see me being such a benevolent monarch, I’m so calm and kind and unassuming’ on the surface, but you see ruthlessness under it. And you know, he plays chess – a clear sign of a manipulative villain. 😉 But more seriously, he does look to me like a mastermind who has everything under his control, at least for now. He reminds me a little of Korn Theerapanyakul from KinnPorsche.

Ramil is getting his redemption arc for sure. Sure, he’s a manipulative asshole. And he’s a bit of a sexist jerk to Ava. But he has an abusive father. He’s desperately and possessively in love with a person he can't admit to being in love with. And that person is cruelly punished every time Ramil makes a mistake or defies his father.

I ship Ramil/Paytai so much. I wish we got a bit more about them, and not just one scene per episode. Also give me more Ava, show. I love her and I want to see more of her. But I feel like this is this drama’s biggest flaw – a large cast, a lot of secondary characters, and a very uneven focus. They have a lot of ground to cover with all those couples (there supposed to be three secondary couples) and they have all those mysteries and the palace intrigue, too. And I feel like they wasting their time on so many irrelevant scenes. Like I love NuNew’s singing, but do they really had to have him sing a song in this kind of drama, too?

But Khanin continues to be great and makes me love him more and more. Boy has so many feelings already and is not afraid to act on them. The way he just cut in during Charan’s dance, so he could dance with Charan instead. And in front of the whole court. And then that talk when he tried to make Charan admit that Charan feels something more than just respect and loyalty... I liked that a lot.

Sweetheart Service

I watched the three available episodes and I loved them. The main pairing is another one of those ‘an enthusiastic, sweet puppy and an aloof, antisocial kitty’ pairings. I usually like those and here it’s adorable, too. The secondary pairing is another sweet and shy puppy in unrequited (for now) love with a guy who has a crush on someone else.

But I have to say it was a bit unexpected to watch a kdrama and suddenly realize that my ears don’t deceive me and I am hearing Bertold Brecht’s song as a background music in one of the episode 2 scenes. It was Mack The Knife. 😊

On Sunday afternoon I’m going to Warsaw for a few days because I have to take care of a thing there. And then to Lublin for a few days, too. And that trip is purely for fun. I’m not taking my laptop since it’s heavy. And my eyes are not very fond of my tiny phone screen, so I won’t be here much in the next week. So today I’m making a long post and dumping a lot of trailer links I acquired lately here, plus my latest drama musings. 😊

Trailers and teaser first. There are six of them – for three kdramas and for three tdramas.

Mercy for None – an eight episodes long drama on Netflix about ex gangster who has to go back into the underworld when he wants to avenge his younger brother’s suspicious death. I mainly want to watch this one for Choo Young Woo who has one of main parts here. Based on the trailer it might be too bloody and brutal for me, but we’ll see.

Our Movie - Nam Goong Min’s new drama about a struggling movie director who meets an aspiring actress suffering from a rare incurable disease (played by Jeon Yeo Been). And really, beloved, did you have to choose such a depressing looking drama again? My Dearest already made me cry buckets, and now this? But for my beloved I’m still going to watch it. And I like Jeon Yeo Been a lot, too.

The First Night With the Duke - Taecyeon’s new drama about an ordinary young woman, who one day wakes up as a minor character in her favorite romance novel set during Joseon era. Taecyeon plays Lee Beon, the lead male character in the novel. Isekai is not my favorite genre, but I love Taec so much and this drama looks cute and funny, so I’m in.

Reset - a BL drama about a famous actor who dies after being betrayed by his lover, who then wakes up in the past on the set of his first movie where he was just an extra. I linked to the pilot trailer before. And this is the official trailer, which I like even more than the pilot trailer. The drama starts airing on June the 1st.

And last but not least two Thai GL dramas - B-Friend about a complicated love triangle (I think?), and Un-trovert about a romance between an introverted closed-off girl and an ultra-confident extrovert. Both look very nice to me.

And now let’s talk about dramas.

I started:

The Next Prince

It’s entertaining and funny, although I have to say that the 1st episode was just so-so for me. The 2nd ep was much better. And wow, very good production values, it’s visually stunning, you can see that they had a lot of money for this drama. And NuNew’s acting improved so much. Not that he was very bad in Cutie Pie. But it was his first acting job and it showed. But here he is genuinely good. I like Khanin a lot already. Zee as Charan is gorgeous as always, but a bit stiff for now. But I guess it suits his character.

A bit more with minor spoilers here.I think I will like it much more now that Khanin and Charan finally arrived in Emmaly in the 2nd episode. And because we finally met Jimmy’s character Prince Ramil. Who’s a hot arrogant jerk, clearly playing a role of a villain for now. And you know me, it’s my kind of character. 😊 And I already know that I will ship Ramil/Paytai so hard - a cruel prince and his loyal servant is my kind of pairing. And I love Princess Ava, too. She’s feisty and lovely and I can’t wait to meet her love interest. Give me my secondary GL pairing now, show. 😊

My Sweetheart Jom

It’s Idol Factory’s new BL drama about 19 years old Yo, who’s heart is in the right place, but who has a penchant for getting into trouble that is serious enough that he couldn’t even finish high school in Bangkok. He gets into a fight with a violent asshole, who’s unfortunately a son of a prominent politician. And since that fight put the politician’s son in the hospital, Yo’s father, afraid that the politician would want to retaliate against Yo, sends Yo to live in the small village when he himself used to live many years ago. Jom from the title is a young Chief of that village, who is loved by everyone, because he’s always helpful and caring, and kind.

The first episode aired on Friday and I liked it a lot. It’s cute and funny, and Saint who plays Jom is great. I only saw Saint in Why R U, which I haven’t even finished, since it was pretty bad IMO and the only good thing about it was explosive chemistry between Saint and Zee. But I know he had very hard time in this industry, and that he later decided that he still wants to do it, but on his own terms, and he set up his own successful company Idol Factory. While being only 24 years old. I’m in awe. 😊

Twinkling Watermelon

I’ve heard a lot of good opinions about this kdrama and it has time travel, so I wanted to check it out for some time.

The main character is Ha Eun Gyeol, who’s a CODA and whose older brother is deaf, too. His family is lovely, his parents are loving and he has a great relationship with his brother. But he feels like he has to excel at school and always behave properly, because when he does not his parents are blamed twice as much for not raising him properly. And when all this starts to overwhelm him, he discovers a mysterious music store, where a kind old man teaches him how to play a guitar.

In 2023 Eun Gyeol tries to navigate the responsibilities of the last year of high school and his secret dream of becoming a guitarist in a band. After the fight he had with his father he's unexpectedly transported back to 1995, where he meets his father, Ha I Chan, as a high schooler.

I watched the 1st episode yesterday and I enjoyed it so much. It’s cute and touching, and it made me laugh, too. Will watch more for sure.

I finished:

4 Minutes

It’s a Thai BL drama written by Sammon, who also wrote Manner of Death, Triage and Petrichor, amongst other things. I tend to like her dramas and I wanted to watch this one, too. I actually did watch the first two episode back when it was still airing, but I guess then I just wasn’t in the mood for awful people behaving badly, a lot of angst and timey wimey weirdness. But I finally watched it all this week and I enjoyed it. Mostly.

More with major spoilers, an a bit of complaining, here. The screenplay IMO fell apart a bit in the second half. And I found the ending unsatisfying.

But my main problem was that I didn’t really like one of the leads Great. It was very nice to see Bible on my screen again. He’s so beautiful and an excellent actor, but his character was very much not great for me. Such a spinless cowardly egoistic rich boy. He was annoying and awful in a very realistic way, and that is always a hard sell for me. Only Bible’s charisma and acting talent stopped me from fast-forwarding through most of his scenes. I really didn’t care about him getting his happy ending, and would feel much better if the ending here was more ambiguous (like in Dead Friend Forever for instance). I guess you can read that last scene in the boat as a bit ambiguous about whether they both survived getting shot, but I read that Sammon herself confirmed that it was supposed to be your regular unambiguous happy ending for them. Which, meh...

But I really loved two secondary characters – Korn played by Bas Asavapatr and Tonkla played by Fuaiz Thanawat. I liked Bas as Arm in KinnPorsche, but he seriously impressed me here. Same with Fuaiz, who I saw in Dead Friend Forever before and thought he was fine. But here he was so, so good.

Korn and Tonkla were both complex and fascinating characters, and their relationship was messed up and complicated and dark. They kept me watching in the second half of the drama. I knew they wouldn’t get a happy ending, and for sure their ending was tragic. But I liked it much more than Great and Tyme’s sugary sweet happy ending.

The official trailer for Thai BL drama The Ex-Morning

Ok, that looks great. I didn’t plan to watch it at first, because I never watched SOTUS and I have no emotional attachment to KristSingto as a ship. But I saw them separately in other dramas, and they are both good actors. And they look so good together here. Also – do I spy Earn and Jamie as the secondary GL couple? Because yes, please, give it to me. And even more importantly one of my newest loves Aou is here in a supporting role. 😊 So yep, now I will be watching this one. It starts airing on May 22.

GMMTV ล้นFEED EP.17 – interview with Jeff Satur

Or in other words - Mark Pakin and Tay Tawan fanboying over Jeff Satur. 😉

This is a great interview. Jeff is charming, intelligent, funny and humble. And amongst other things he talks about wanting to do a world tour and going also to Europe. And oh wow, yes, please, please, please. Because as long as it is in Europe, no matter what country, I should be able to go and see Jeff Satur on stage. And that would be amazing.

A wonderful Korean multifandom fanvid - Dark side

The best description is a quote from the song used in this fanvid: “Everybody's got a dark side”.

This pic of all four actors from Secret Relationships:

Two more pics from the same photoshoot behind the cut.

I don’t want Korea doing this ‘fixed pairings’ thing Thailand does, but, yes, I would love to watch other BL dramas with these actors, just in other combinations. It was really one of these shows when everybody had chemistry with everybody. Just take any two actors of those four and make them a main pairing, and I would run to watch this show. 😊

Good RL things

The 1st of May and the 3rd of May are the national holidays in Poland. So we decided to make a really looong weekend out of it and on Tuesday we arrived at my sister’s summer house in the country. And we will stay here till Sunday. It’s so green here, and quiet. The weather is very pleasant, too. And it’s been so long since we were together like that – just the three of us: me, my sister and our mom (my brother in law will join us on Saturday since he has to work till Friday).

Here have a few pics of the beautiful Polish countryside + one of a cute and pretty horse. This is a local rural road – I usually go for walks there.

And here is out closest neighbors’ cute and very friendly horse. He always trots closer when someone comes by his pasture, and he lets you pat his head.

And here is our hanging outdoor chair perfect for some light swinging or reading, or drinking a nice cup of coffee or tea.

Good fannish things

Two beautiful new songs from my two favorite Thai singers – Jeff Satur and NuNew. NuNew's song is from OST for The Next Prince.

Two trailers for new BL dramas – one Korean and one Thai.

Sweetheart Service – Strongberry’s new drama with fake dating that of course turns into a real romance.

Mission to the Moon – a new drama with Mon and Pak. It has reincarnation, which is not really my favorite trope, but I don’t care. Because it’s enough for me that Mon and Pak are the main couple looking so cute and sexy together.

And I posted my new Klao/Warich fic.

I’m watching:

Boys in Love

The 1st episode was very cute and charming. But yep, I am watching this one for PodPapang and the secondary teachers pairing. They are both great here. And already look so good together.

But all the kids are adorable, too. And they look so young that my auntly instinct gets activated and I want to hug them and pat them on their cute little heads. 😊

I’m very pleased. I like having a fluffy Sunday BL drama to watch, and that one fits the bill perfectly.

Leap Day

It’s a GMMTV drama with Pond, Dew and Gun about two guys born on February 29 who are plagued by a terrible curse - every four years one person close to them ends up dying in some terrible accident. Now they have to team up if they want to find out why all this is happening and how to stop it.

Three episodes aired for now and I like it a lot. Gun is good as always, but Pond is very good here, too. I’m excited to watch more.

I dropped:

Resident Playbook

Such a pity. I was very excited for this drama since this is a spin off drama for Hospital Playlist, and I loved Hospital Playlist. But I watched two and a half episode and decided not to watch more. Out of four main characters I find three very boring and one actively annoying. I liked a few secondary characters, but they are not enough to make me want to watch more. Neither are cameos from Hospital Playlist characters.

I don’t know which kdrama I want to try next. Maybe Undercover Highschool? Or The Art of Negotiation, because silver haired Lee Je Hoon tempts me. 😊

I finished:

Sadistic Love

If you think that this poster makes it look like a love triangle where the female lead and the second male lead are vying for the male lead’s affection, well, you’d be right. 😊

This is one of those short cdramas with episodes that are only 10-15 minutes long. But, wow do I enjoyed this one. It was so campy, so OTT and so entertaining. With angsty and tragic BL undertones. Which were, and that was very surprising to me, canon, not just subtext. I know these mini dramas are for sure granted more leniency from censors than mainstream dramas. But still it was quite shocking to me what they managed to get away with.

It takes place during the Republican Era. The male lead He Zheng comes back to his hometown after five years. Now he’s a powerful warlord who wants to avenge his mother’s death. When He Zheng was a teenager his mother became a concubine of rich merchant He Molin. And Zheng was adopted into the He Family. He and his stepsister Anran fell in love. But of course He Molin didn’t accept his only daughter’s relationship with a poor boy. And then the tragedy struck and He Zheng’s mother died. He Zheng is convinced that He Molin was responsible for her death, and that Anran betrayed him, too.

Now He Zheng is back with money and power and he wants to avenge his mother’s death by taking He Molin’s fortune from him, and by forcing Anran to marry him.

The third main character is Mo Yutang who was once a poor starving orphan boy. He was saved by He Zheng and very clearly instantly fell in love with him. Later a lot of bad things happened to him and he blames He Zheng for all of them. And now he’s also back in the town as a beautiful opera performer, with cruelty and hatred for He Zheng in his heart, and with diabolical plans for revenge.

Listen, I was mainly into tragic BL undertones of course. Because just look at them:

Two more gifs here, because they look so good together and their chemistry is fire. This is how He Zheng looks when he sees Mo Yutang for the first time after their five years separation.

And this is a scene from later in the drama.

But I enjoyed the main het romance, too. ML and FL have nice chemistry and both are decent actors. And it was pretty raunchy for a cdrama. As I’ve said above – they got away with a lot.

Also the main lead Dai Gao Zheng is gorgeous and clearly has in his contract at least one shirtless scene per episode. 😉

More with major spoilers here.Everything that happened to Mo Yutang makes him a woobiest woobie of then all. He was a starving orphan on the streets. He witnessed a main villain killing He Zheng’s mother, but he was caught and the villain raped him and branded Yutang with his ring. And yes, it was undoubtedly rape, and again, they showed as much as they could. And later when he wanted to go to He Zheng and tell him everything, he was beaten viciously by the servants who thought he was a beggar and who didn’t let him see He Zheng at all. And because of that beating he lost one leg.

And nobody can tell me that the creators weren’t kinking on half-sibling incest between He Zheng and He Anran. Because yes, there was that statement of ‘we are step siblings’ in the beginning. But if I remember correctly they said it exactly once. And before and after everybody treats it as half-siblings situation. And I mean everybody. The He family treats it that way, we see random people on the street gossip a few times that the new governor married his sister (not step sister, just sister). He Zheng and Anran think of themselves as siblings, too. It really looks like they wanted it to be a forbidden love between half-siblings, so they wrote that one sentence about step siblings as a “see, nothing incesty is happening here” for the censors. 😊

Boys in Love

The trailer aired a few days ago. And it looks so sweet and cute. It starts airing on April 20. And yes, I will be watching this drama for the teachers, because I love Papang, and because Pod and Papang look great and hot together. But all the kids and their love stories look like an adorable piece of fluff, too.

The Next Prince

Finally - the official trailer is here. And it looks good. It will start airing on May the 3rd. I can’t wait for this one, and I hope that it will be very entertaining and sexy.

Perfect 10 Liners Finale

That was indeed perfect. I had very high expectations and this episode exceeded them all. I laughed a lot and made a lot of delighted aww noises. I already watched the whole episode twice, and I watched Klao/Warich scenes so many times it’s embarrassing to admit. 😊

More squee with spoilers here. What I loved the most of course was everything about Klao and Warich. A beautiful proposal, a lot of hot kisses, Boom looking so ethereally beautiful, and them being so in love with each other, and as always so horny for each other. I wrote ‘what happened in that bathroom in episode 16’ fic, now I’m planning to write ‘what happened in that tent in episode 24’ fic. 😊

And I read that their second super hot kiss during a proposal wasn’t in the script, it was improvised by Aou and Boom. I don’t know what to do with that knowledge now. Because damn... It kinda makes me want to write my first RPF fic. Oops.

But I loved everyone else, too. Arc and Arm being adorable, and Arm’s little reference to his part in Peaceful Property. Yotha and Faifa being similarly clingy boyfriends. Po’s appearance and his last hilarious scene. All the gang together, all the great friendships and couples. And so many funny, cute and touching scenes.

I will miss this drama so much. And I’m sure I will re-watch when in need of cheering up since it joins the short list of my perfect comfort shows.

Heesu in Class 2

This is a new Korean BL about 18 years old Hee Su, who’s considered a dating expert at his school, because his relationship advice is always spot on. But Hee Su has never been in a relationship before, and he has a big secret – that he has feelings for a boy, his best friend Chan Yeong.

I watched four episodes available for now. I like it, it’s very cute. But also a bit unusual because it is a BL drama and marketed as one, but it has two main pairings – one gay and one het. And in those four episodes both these pairings had more or less equal amount of time dedicated to them. I don’t mind that, I find het couple in this drama interesting and lovely, too. But it’s not something that I’ve seen in Korean BLs before.

This drama will have 10 episodes and it’s available on VIKI.

Secret Relationships

This is another new Korean BL drama that finished airing not so long ago. And oh wow, I enjoyed this one a lot. It was surprisingly good. It’s another unusual Korean BL because it’s rather dark, and it’s about messy, fucked up and complicated relationships. And when I say fucked up I mean it. I would say it’s messy and fucked up Japanese style. Japanese BL is good at messiness like that. I’m not used to Korea doing this kind of thing.

The trailer is here.

The main character Da On is smart, handsome and hard working. And he catches the eye of three different men – his new colleague Seong Hyeon, his former tutor and longtime friend Jae Min, and rich heir Su Hyeon.

Da On’s actor Kim Jun Seo is very pretty with those beautiful, huge, beseeching eyes. And he has this kind of vulnerable sweetness and gentleness in him. It’s easy to believe that those three guys went gaga over him.

I was also very impressed with Su Hyeon’s actor Cha Jung Woo. And I find it amusing that he is the younger brother of actor Choo Young Woo, who is now very famous after main roles in The Tale of Lady Ok and Trauma Code Heroes on Call, and who also started his career in a BL drama. It was You Make Me Dance in 2021.

This drama has 8 episodes, and it is available on iQIYI and GagaOOLala.

More with major spoilers here.Jae Min is an intelligent psychopath with love for mind games. Da On is sweet and naïve so no wonder Jae Min fooled him completely. But he also fooled a lot of other people, since his students (he’s a teacher at the university) clearly think he’s a great guy. And who he can’t fool he manipulates or threatens or buys.

I feel like the drama didn’t do a good job with showing what his motivation for his behavior was. He says it’s because he loves Da On, but was afraid that he was losing him since Da On started to develop a big crush on Su Hyeon. And that’s why he orchestrated Da On’s assault and later manipulated Su Hyeon into going abroad. But then when he was the only one in Da On’s life and Da On clearly had feelings for him, he did nothing about it. And when Da On finally confessed he reacted with anger and rejected him.

I mean, ok, he says it one time that he wants to have Da On in his life forever, and starting a romantic relationship would also mean a possibility of a breakup and losing Da On. So I guess he is this kind of a psychopath who wants to possess the object of his affection completely. In Jae Min’s mind Da On is Jae Min’s precious property, his beloved pet, who he wants to have in his possession forever. He doesn’t want anyone else to have him, but he also doesn’t want to change the status quo of their relationship where he is the most important person in Da On’s life, where Da On is still hung up on him and always indebted to him.

But I have to admit that out of all four guys I love Su Hyeon the most. He’s a violent guy with an obsessive and possessive love for a kind, soft spoken, beautiful boy. Kinda reminds me of Klao from Perfect 10 Liners a little bit. And we see glimpses of his fucked up relationship with his parents, and we see how masterfully Jae Min manipulated him. And you can understand why he behaves the way he does. Of course none of that justifies his behavior towards Da On – that possessive jealousy, the physical violence, the way he uses his position at work to try and control Da On, and force Da On to spend time with him.

Also, for a kdrama there was quite a lot of very good kissing. 😊

And for a moment there I thought: yay, they subverted that very common and annoying to me kdrama trope of 'we have a childhood connection and I saw you first so of course we’ll end up together.'

“Now you understand, right? I was the first one to know you. So the person who should be by your side is me.”

Here it’s a psychopathic villain saying this not a male lead. And it’s another sign of how unhinged he is.

But of course Seong Hyeon was the one who saw Da On first in the past. I guess that trope is unbeatable in kdramas after all. 😉 But ok I don’t mind it too much here, because it also works as a counterpoint for Jae Min’s claim. Like you thought you saw him first, so he’s yours according to kdrama rules, but no, it wasn’t you, it was that sweet and caring guy other there. 😊

RL is still rather blah. I’m so tired all the time lately. Thank god I’m not working, because I can’t imagine going to work every day feeling like that. At least now I know it’s not my heart getting worse, since my fist doctor visit – a cardiologist – is done.

And at least I got over my unwillingness to try watching something new. 😊 I mean I’m also in the middle of Wandee Goodday re-watch, because it’s on VIKI now, and their subtitles are always better that those on Youtube. But I did try a few new dramas, too. With one successful result, one failure, and one meh.

Aoshima-kun is a Bully!

This drama was a success. I started watching it because, finally two weeks ago, after like half a year break, I finished that Japanese crime drama I started last year just because Higuchi Kouhei had a secondary part there. Kouhei didn’t have much to do, true, but this drama called Yakusoku: 16-Nen-me no Shinjitsu (The Promise: The Truth from 16 Years Ago) introduced Anne Nakamura to me. I loved her here so much that I went looking for something else with her. And found this little gem.

It is an adorable and sweet Japanese noona romance that starts with fake dating. And despite the title nobody is a bully in this drama.

Katsuragi Yukino is 35 years old. She’s a very competent and hard working office worker, whose boyfriend dumped her six months ago. But when a friend calls her to confirm Yukino’s presence at the friend’s wedding in a week and says that she can’t wait to meet Yukino’s mysterious boyfriend, Yukino panics and asks a new handsome IT guy at her company – 26 years old Aoshima Mizuki, to be her fake boyfriend for the wedding. Mizuki agrees because he wants to use this as a deterrent to other single female employees asking him out on a date all the time. So this one fake wedding date turns into a longer arrangement, and in the process they of course fall in love for real.

Apart from our lovely main couple this drama has a lot of great secondary characters I loved. Especially Yukino’s supportive best friend. And Mizuki’s two stepmothers, ex-wife number 2 Tamayo and ex-wife number 3 Reiko, who raised him during his middle school and high school years. Now Reiko has a bar where Mizuki hangs out a lot. And Tamayo is always there, too, since she and Reiko are clearly very good friends. I admit, I shipped them a little bit. They’re wonderful, and funny, and always have a good advice for Mizuki during all his love troubles.

It is a very short drama – only nine 25-minutes-long episodes. It’s available on VIKI.

Meh was Minato’s Laundromat – a Japanese BL drama, also with an age gap pairing. I watched the first two episodes and it’s ok, I guess. I just can’t connect emotionally with it. Probably won’t watch more.

And a failure was Top Form – a new Thai BL about a romance between a rookie actor and his famous costar. I watched the first two episodes here, too. I found the 1st episode quite entertaining and promising. And then I watched the 2nd episode. And, well... Sigh... It’s 2025, I thought we were over that ‘kissing someone sleeping or unconscious is fine and romantic’ BL trend. But apparently not. After that I searched for the summary of manga this drama is based on and wow, no, absolutely not. I’m sure they will tone it down for the drama a lot, but still, this one is not for me.

On Sunday I wrote five ficlets for Poetic Fic Meme. I snatched it from two people on my reading list: [personal profile] shipperslist and [personal profile] extrapenguin.

1: Pick five fandoms and list them in alphabetical order.

2: Click to receive a Random Famous Poem. Write down the 5th line (yes, even if it's an e.e. cummings poem and you wind up with an apostrophe). Repeat five times and list them in alphabetical order.

3: Write a very quick 50-word half-drabble for each fandom (try to do it all in one sitting), using the line from the poem as a prompt. (You don't have to include it in the half-drabble - it's just inspiration.)

But I ignored 50 words limit and followed extarpenguin’s example by increasing the number of words – in my case to a double drabble or a triple drabble. 😊

I was pleased with how they all came out, so yesterday I cleaned them up a little and posted them all on AO3. I chose these five fandoms: Bump Up Business, Chief Kim, Meet You At The Blossom, Perfect 10 Liners, Vincenzo.

One of many, many things Arm loved about Arc was his ability to pick Arm up so easily and carry him wherever he wanted to carry Arm. Arm liked to take advantage of that amazing ability of Arc sometimes, and who could blame him for that.

Whee!!! Hurray!! Yes, yes, yes!

Spoilers and squee here.Of course, all Faifa’s very serious issues with his mother are resolved in one short talk + one hug. But fine, I expected that, and at least she sort of apologized. And right now nothing stands in the way of 45 minutes of sweetness and fluff the next Sunday.

And of course I’m full of squee because it is Klao and Warich who are getting married. Yay! That scene in Yotha’s room at the bar was perfect and hot and romantic. 😍 And we will see the proposal in the next episode. I can’t wait.

Junior and Mark were perfect in this episode, too. I love Faifa and Wine’s relationship, I love how they bring our the best in each other, and help each other and are honest with each other. They are adorable together. And kudos to Junior and Mark for being very good at kissing, too. All the couples in this drama are so good at kissing. 😊

Ossan’s Love ended on Monday, my beloved Perfect 10 Liners will end next Sunday. I would love to have new GMMTV BL to watch, but neither My Golden Blood nor Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist work for me. I don’t like Gawin at all in MGB. And him and Joss have no chemistry IMO. Pity, I wanted to have cheesy vampire BL to watch. And I watched only half an episode of Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist and found its humor too cringy.

Of course I do have a to-watch list with many other BL dramas on it. But you know that mood when you have too many new shows you want to start so you’re just doing that ‘eh, choosing something new is hard, I’ll just re-watch something I already know instead’ thing? It’s me right now. So instead of choosing one of the dramas from my very, very long to-watch list I started another re-watch of My Personal Weatherman. 😊

Perfect 10 Liners

Episode 21 was good, episode 22 was amazing.

Squee with spoilers here. They made me laugh, and they made my heart ache for Faifa. And I didn’t even want to fast-forward through the completely unnecessary song. Junior is not bad at singing. And he is an excellent actor. I’m in awe. 😊

And wow, I adored that lovely rooftop confession scene in ep 22. It was perfect. Emotional love confessions from both sides, passionate kisses, and then that interruption by the rest of the main gang. It was great, it made me laugh out loud, and it didn’t IMO take anything from Faifa and Wine’s getting together.

Oh right, I almost forgot that there was one scene that I was a bit :/ about. I’m talking about the scene with Faifa and Yotha’s horrible mother. But by now I’m used to Asian dramas doing that thing where a child forgives a horrible parent even if that parent never apologized or did anything to make up for all the horrible things they did.

But let’s not talk about that. Let’s talk about Faifa and Wine being a proper couple, so the three main couples are all official now. So only fluff and humor and sweetness in the next two eps, right? Please, show, I need this. 😊

And there was a talk about engagement in the next ep’s teaser. I wondered who’s getting married. Probably Jet and Pun. I saw rumors that it might be Klao and Warich based on one BTS vid where Warich had an engagement ring on his finger. I don’t dare to hope. But yes, I will die and go to heaven if that happens. 😉

Ossan’s Love Thailand

Episodes 11 and 12 were very disappointing. Especially the last ep.

One spoiler here.Seriously, show? Amnesia? *sigh*

I fast-forwarded a lot during the last episode. Ah well, at least I had fun watching the previous ten episodes, and it was wonderful seeing Earth in such a typical comedic role. He was great. And it was so nice to see Thor, too, even if in a small secondary part. He looked so gorgeous in glasses.
